Membership in a church is like being a member of a family. When you're family you spend time together, serve together, and sometimes have intense conversations together. You're there for each other whether to celebrate or to grieve. In a family there is a shared culture of  values, trust, and commitment. The members of Life Church all share the same cultural D.N.A. as described by our Vision and Values.

If our vision and values resonate with you then you probably share our cultural D.N.A. and should consider making a commitment to joining Life Church. Still not sure? The lists below will help you decide if membership is right for you at this time.

Membership is right for you if...

• You've been at Life Church at least 3 months - long enough to be sure you understand our vision and values.
• You're excited about the Vision of Life Church and want to be a part of who we are and where we're going.
• You share our values for authentic faith, loving relationships, intentional discipleship, vibrant worship, and empowered ministry.
• You're willing to invest your time and resources into what God is doing through Life Church.
• You're committed to participating in our Sunday morning services, a connect group, and outreaches.
• You want to use your gifts and abilities to serve the family of Life Church.
• You're willing to be held accountable by those in the family of Life Church who will encourage you to fulfill the purpose God has for your life.
• And most importantly, you're committed to growing in your relationship with Jesus and allowing the leaders of Life Church to mentor you in your discipleship journey.

Membership isn't right for you yet if...

• You're not sure you understand the vision of Life Church or our values.
• You are unable or unwilling to invest your time and resources into what God is doing through Life Church.
• You are unable or unwilling to commit to participating in Sunday morning services, a connect group, and outreaches or to using your gifts and abilities to serve.
• You are not yet ready to let the leadership and family members of Life Church hold you accountable to fulfilling God's purpose for your life or to let them mentor you in your discipleship journey.

Benefit of Joining Life Church:

Becoming a part of our family means that our leaders will offer you encouragement, counsel, accountability, and loving correction. Our leaders will not parent you or boss you around, but they will mentor you. This provides safety for you because you know that someone is looking out for your best interest and is willing to speak the truth in love to you. It also builds a relationship of trust with the leaders of Life so that they feel more comfortable offering you opportunities in ministry. You will find yourself truly experiencing abundant life as you are invested in by our leadership and as you invest your gifts, time and resources into the life of others.
